Dubai is accelerating its artificial intelligence ambitions with a major new Agentic AI transformation plan designed to reshape how businesses operate across the emirate.
The initiative, approved by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence and Chairman of Dubai’s Higher Committee for Future Technology Development and the Digital Economy, aims to make advanced AI solutions more accessible to the private sector.
The ambitious programme will support 295,000 companies in Dubai, develop 100 specialised AI assistants within two years and encourage the creation of 50 new Agentic AI companies.
The move reflects Dubai’s growing ambition to become one of the world’s leading centres for artificial intelligence, innovation and future technologies.
Dubai’s Agentic AI Plan Targets Business Transformation
Unlike traditional AI systems that mainly provide information or support tasks, Agentic AI focuses on intelligent systems capable of performing actions, managing workflows and making decisions with greater independence.

100 AI Assistants and 50 New AI Companies
A key part of Dubai’s AI transformation programme is the development of 100 specialised AI assistants over the next two years.
These AI assistants are expected to support businesses and organisations by handling specialised tasks, improving efficiency and helping companies adopt smarter digital solutions.
The initiative will also support the establishment of 50 Agentic AI companies, encouraging entrepreneurs, developers and investors to build new businesses around emerging AI technologies.

The Crown Prince noted that the next phase of AI adoption will require a shift from simple AI tools toward systems that can execute tasks, support operations and deliver measurable economic value.

Dubai Strengthens Digital Economy With Major Technology Projects
The Agentic AI announcement is part of a wider digital transformation strategy across Dubai.
Several technology initiatives have already recorded major progress.
The SME digital trade support initiative, developed with Amazon, has expanded significantly and reached more than 105,000 companies by May 2026.
Dubai AI Campus has grown into a major technology hub, hosting more than 400 specialised companies and training more than 1,500 participants through its AI Academy.
The Dubai Founders HQ platform has also supported startups and entrepreneurs, attracting more than 500 startups and helping companies raise more than AED 200 million in funding.
Dubai Police Launches Digital Twin System
During the meeting, Sheikh Hamdan also approved the Digital Twin System for Dubai Police.
The technology will use advanced digital systems to support security operations, improve monitoring and enhance real-time analysis.
The pilot phase will include 150 cameras across Dubai, creating a digital model designed to support faster decision-making and smarter field responses.
The project reflects Dubai’s wider approach of using advanced technology to improve government services and public safety.
