The Dubai weekend guide May 2-3 is here, and it is properly stacked. Here is the full breakdown of where to go and how to plan it.

Saturday 2 May: Breakfast, Market, and Dinner Done Right

Saturday has three distinct stops, each worth your time.

Morning: Cafe Villa 515, Jumeirah 3

Start Saturday at Cafe Villa 515 on Jumeirah Beach Road, a boutique cafe set inside a beautifully restored villa. It has both indoor and outdoor seating, a shaded garden courtyard, and a full breakfast menu featuring eggs benedict, burrata toast, French toast, shakshuka, and pancakes. There is also an in-house perfumery, which makes for a nice post-breakfast browse. No reservations are accepted, so arrive early if you want a garden table. Hours run 8am to 10pm.

Late Afternoon: Ripe Market, Dubai Police Academy, Umm Suqeim

By late afternoon, head to the Ripe Market at the Dubai Police Academy in Umm Suqeim. This community outdoor market, founded in 2011 in partnership with Dubai Police, is now running Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3pm to 10pm through May 17 with free entry. It is the kind of place that has something for everyone, artisan vendors, organic produce and fresh food, local food trucks, live entertainment, workshops, horseback riding, and a petting zoo for kids. It is low-key, well-organized, and a genuinely good late-afternoon hang.
