Dubai has no shortage of luxury chocolate. But Ganache Chocolatier, the homegrown artisan brand that got its start in Alserkal Avenue, is doing something most chocolate shops here are not — giving each of its four Dubai locations a completely different purpose and identity.
The brand currently has four addresses across the city: Alserkal Avenue as the factory, Dubai Mall as the gifting boutique, Dubai Hills Mall as the artisan cafe, and Nad Al Sheba Mall as the cacao brasserie. That is four very different reasons to visit, and four very different ways to eat chocolate. Instagram
What Actually Goes Into Every Piece
Ganache Chocolatier sources its finest ingredients from Switzerland, Belgium, and France, and the chocolate collection features more than 100 unique flavors, each with quality in every layer. The range covers pralines, bonbons, dragées, truffles, chocolate wafers, and chips — all handcrafted in-house.
Behind the cocoa creations is Chef Hassan Salam, who has previously worked and trained with Ecole Du Grand Chocolat Valrhona, and hand crafts each chocolate in-house. The flavor lineup goes well past standard chocolate territory. Chocolate lovers can sample nostalgic flavors like baklava crunch and zaatar praline, as well as delectable bonbons and floral flavored treats. There is also Rose Dulce, mandarin jelly, dark orange, and date marmalade in the mix — flavors clearly made with a regional palate in mind.
The Factory at Alserkal Avenue
The Alserkal Avenue location features a first-of-its-kind chocolate factory right at its center, where guests can observe and experience first-hand the craft of artisan chocolate-making. The facility also houses a unique gift wrapping and customisation station, enabling guests to create their own chocolate boxes for their loved ones for every occasion.
Inside, the chocolate ganache-inspired space looks almost edible, designed to resemble the colors, curves, and textures of the chocolate it creates. The design incorporates natural materials and a specific color palette that takes inspiration from the colors of chocolate, graduating from a rough to a softer texture, thanks to Ghida Chehab from Studio Baab.
The Dubai Mall Gifting Boutique
After the success of its first outlet in Alserkal Avenue, Ganache Chocolatier opened its second branch in Dubai Mall. To mark the opening of the boutique, the brand introduced Dulce Cheese, a creamy cheese and crunchy feuilletine creation wrapped in a dulce chocolate shell.
This branch also houses the exclusive Capsule Collection, gift boxes made with Liberty London fabrics inspired by nature’s blooms. If you are looking for a gift that actually feels considered, this is probably where you want to go.
Who Is Behind the Brand
Ganache Chocolatier was co-founded by Mouza Alabbar, co-founder of ANOTHER and Alabbar Enterprises. On the brand’s vision, Alabbar has spoken about pride in its homegrown roots and a commitment to making premium chocolate genuinely accessible for everyday cravings, gifts, and special moments alike.

A Chocolate Brand That Actually Has a Point of View
Most artisan chocolate shops here are imports or franchise plays. Ganache Chocolatier is neither. It is a Dubai brand, made by a Dubai team, using world-class ingredients, with a chef who trained at one of France’s most respected chocolate institutions. The fact that it now has four locations, each with a distinct concept, says a lot about how far it has come since Alserkal Avenue.
Whether you are going in for a box of date marmalade bonbons or a full cafe sit-down at Dubai Hills, there is a reason this brand has 116,000 Instagram followers and counting.
