If you’ve been saying you’ll catch A Night at the Musicals, this is your final opportunity.

Musical Theatre Dubai (MTDXB) closes its June run tonight, Thursday, June 25, with one last performance at the Meyana Theatre inside Jumeirah Beach Hotel. After tonight, the curtain comes down.

With tickets starting from AED 110, the production packs music from 16 of the world’s biggest musicals into a single evening lasting just under two hours.

One Show. Sixteen Musicals.

Rather than focusing on one production, the cast performs songs from some of musical theatre’s biggest titles, including:

  • Wicked
  • Chicago
  • Grease
  • Dear Evan Hansen
  • Rent
  • Dreamgirls
  • Hairspray
  • The Addams Family
  • Guys and Dolls
  • and more.

The performance runs for 1 hour and 45 minutes, split across two acts with an interval.

They’re Ending The Run On A High

Tonight’s performance arrives after MTDXB picked up 13 honours at the DXB Theatre Awards, cementing its place as one of Dubai’s leading community theatre companies.

The show also marks two major milestones:

  • MTDXB’s 10th stage production
  • The company’s 5th anniversary since launching in 2021

It’s also a full-circle moment. Their very first production back in July 2021 was also A Night at the Musicals.

Built Dubai’s Musical Theatre Community

Founded by James Mitchinson, Bethanie Mitchinson, and Sarah Jordan, Musical Theatre Dubai was created to give adult performers a dedicated musical theatre community in the city.

Five years later, the company has become one of Dubai’s best-known amateur theatre groups, with award-winning productions and a growing local following.
