Primark Mall of the Emirates is officially open. On May 21, 2026, at 3pm, the Irish budget fashion retailer launched its third Dubai store, closing out a two-month rollout that took the brand from no UAE presence to three locations in the city. Primark teased the opening on Instagram with the caption, “Mall of the Emirates fans, you asked, we listened. The grand opening countdown starts now.” That countdown is done. Of the three Dubai locations, Primark Mall of the Emirates was the one shoppers had been asking for loudest, and it is now up and running.

Primark Mall of the Emirates and the Full Dubai Rollout

Primark’s UAE story started at Dubai Mall on March 26, 2026. The flagship, the brand’s first store in the country, spanned more than 60,000 sq ft on a single sales floor and hired 600 staff. The ribbon-cutting was attended by Alshaya Group CEO John Hadden, Irish Ambassador to the UAE Alison Milton, and Primark Middle East Vice President Ghansham Pindoria.

A second location followed at City Centre Mirdif on April 9, 2026, just two weeks later. The Mall of the Emirates location is now the third, completing the rollout that Primark and Alshaya Group had planned and publicly confirmed for the UAE. All three locations are in the city’s busiest shopping destinations. The MOE store opened in partnership with both Alshaya Group and Majid Al Futtaim, which operates the mall.

What to Expect at Primark Mall of the Emirates

The Primark Mall of the Emirates store stocks womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, home goods, and beauty products. The product range is wide, and the store is set on a single floor, which keeps shopping straightforward no matter how busy it gets.

Pricing is where Primark has always stood out, and the UAE numbers are exactly as promised. Alshaya Group CEO John Hadden confirmed on Virgin Radio Dubai in 2025 that Primark would not adjust its price points for the UAE market. Basic t-shirts are priced at Dh15 and jeans start at Dh50. Primark confirmed it would keep its global pricing intact for UAE shoppers, and it has.

Who Is Primark

Founded in Dublin in 1969, Primark now has more than 450 stores in markets including the UK, Ireland, Germany, Spain, and the United States. The brand is known for affordable fashion and homeware, with a wide product range and low price points that have made it a fixture for shoppers who want variety without paying a premium. The UAE marks Primark’s 19th international market. Its Middle East debut happened at The Avenues Mall in Kuwait in October 2025, making Kuwait the first country in the region to have a Primark store.

What Is Next for Primark in the Middle East

Mall of the Emirates is not the last stop. Primark has confirmed two more locations set to open later in 2026: City Centre Bahrain in Bahrain and Doha Festival City in Qatar. With those additions, Primark would have a footprint in 21 international markets worldwide.

Primark Interim CEO Eoin Tonge has pointed to the Kuwait opening as proof that demand in the Middle East is real, and the response to the three Dubai stores has backed that position up. Alshaya Group has confirmed it plans to continue expanding with Primark in the region.

The Bottom Line

Three stores. Two months. Primark Mall of the Emirates is now open and it is the last piece of the brand’s UAE launch plan. Whether you are going for a full shopping haul, stocking up on everyday basics, or just want to see what all the noise is about, the MOE doors are open and the prices are low.
